Terms of Service (TOS)

These Terms of Service ("TOS") govern access to and use of the Minecraft server BakerSMP (the "Server"). By connecting to or playing on the Server, you fully agree to these terms.

This TOS is intended to comply with the Minecraft End User License Agreement (EULA) and Microsoft/Mojang policies. In the event of a conflict, Mojang/Microsoft rules take precedence.

1. General Conditions

1.1. The Server is provided "as is" without guarantees of uptime, stability, or data preservation.

1.2. The server owner reserves the right to modify, suspend, or shut down the Server at any time without prior notice.

1.3. It is your responsibility to remain informed about the current rules and terms.

2. Minecraft EULA Compliance

2.1. The Server is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang Studios or Microsoft.

2.2. All in-game purchases, donations, or perks comply with the Minecraft EULA, including (but not limited to):

  • No pay-to-win advantages
  • No sale of items or features that provide unfair competitive gameplay advantages

2.3. Any virtual items, ranks, or perks are cosmetic or convenience-based only.

3. Age Requirements

3.1. By playing on the Server, you confirm that you meet the age requirements defined by Mojang/Microsoft for Minecraft.

3.2. Minors play with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

4. Accounts and Access

4.1. You may only use your own legally obtained Minecraft account.

4.2. Account sharing, selling, or transferring is strictly prohibited.

4.3. Abuse of alternate accounts ("alts") may result in punishment.

5. Player Conduct

5.1. The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Use of cheats, hacks, exploits, or unauthorized third-party software
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, or discriminatory behavior
  • Spamming, advertising, or self-promotion without permission
  • Griefing or intentional destruction of other players’ builds
  • Exploiting bugs (bugs must be reported to staff)

5.2. Staff decisions are final.

6. Enforcement and Penalties

6.1. Violations of these TOS or server rules may result in:

  • Warnings
  • Temporary mutes or bans
  • Permanent bans
  • Removal of in-game items, currency, or privileges

6.2. Severe violations may result in immediate punishment without warning.

7. Donations and Purchases

7.1. All donations and purchases are voluntary and support server maintenance and development.

7.2. No refunds are provided unless required by applicable law.

7.3. Virtual items, perks, and ranks have no real-world monetary value and may be changed or removed at any time.

8. Data Loss and Liability

8.1. The server owner is not responsible for loss of items, data, progress, or currency due to crashes, bugs, or wipes.

8.2. You play on the Server at your own risk.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1. All server-specific systems, plugins, configurations, and concepts belong to the server owner unless otherwise stated.

9.2. By playing on the Server, you grant permission for the use of screenshots or recordings for promotional purposes.

10. Changes to Terms

10.1. These TOS may be updated at any time.

10.2. Continued use of the Server after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
